For the material selection in the 3d Model i used aspects that represent "nature" and also "metal". The sword is made of metal, whereas the main cylindrical part is made of wood. The stairs are made from concrete to represent a pathway between nature and metal, as it is neither of them.
Each different person has their own hobby and what they think is beautiful. Mine happens to be cars and I also think that my car is "beautiful". I've spent so much time trying to make it look like it is now and it's one of the things I'm most proud of :)
This is a model of a building called the "Church of Light" by Ando Tadao. I found this interesting because of the simplistic yet unique design. I liked the fact that the opening on the wall in the shape of a cross created an awesome effect in the inside.
This piece of artwork is a drawing of "Boullee's Cenotaph for Newton" I did last year for ARCH1121 . I chose to upload this photo because I have very little experience in art and drawing and I consider this one of my best so far. Although it isn't anything special it means something to me because it shows my improvement. I never even thought I could draw something like this at the beginning of the semester.
